Kidder Mathews has named DeAnna Amende, CPM, as senior vice president and market leader for its asset services platform in Portland, Oregon. In her new role, Amende is responsible for directing local teams that support the firm's property management operations in the market and aligning those efforts with client objectives and portfolio strategies.
Amende's remit includes oversight of day-to-day property management, portfolio performance, client relationships, and new business development across the Portland area. By centralizing these functions under a single market leader, Kidder Mathews is positioning its asset services group to provide more coordinated coverage for institutional and private clients with holdings across property types.
Amende brings nearly three decades of experience managing office, retail, and industrial assets in multiple Western U.S. markets, including California, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. Over the course of her career, she has led operations for multi-building portfolios on behalf of national and international ownership groups, including assignments for firms such as Hines and RREEF. Her work with these organizations has involved driving operational efficiency, maintaining building performance, and supporting ownership goals around value and tenant retention.
Her background in Portland includes leadership roles on some of the city's most prominent commercial properties. Amende previously oversaw the repositioning of PacWest Center, a 550,000-square-foot high-rise, where her work focused on reintroducing the asset to the market and enhancing its competitive profile. She also led the commissioning and leasing of Block 216, a 1.1-million-square-foot mixed-use tower, following its development, coordinating building systems readiness with initial lease-up efforts.
Before joining Kidder Mathews, Amende held senior leadership positions with BPM Real Estate Group, Lincoln Property Company, and 1st Commercial Realty Group Inc. In those roles, she was responsible for regional and property-level operations, giving her direct experience with complex urban office towers as well as broader mixed portfolios. Her track record with large-scale, multi-tenant assets provides context for her new responsibilities overseeing asset services for Kidder Mathews in Portland.
With this appointment, Kidder Mathews is adding an experienced market leader with a history of working on high-profile buildings and diversified portfolios in the West. Amende's combination of operational expertise, institutional ownership experience, and local market familiarity is expected to inform how the firm structures and delivers asset services to clients active in Portland's office and mixed-use sectors.
