**Innovative Housing Opportunities Breaks Ground on Lincoln Beach in Anaheim**

Furthering Anaheim’s Rebuild Beach initiative, Innovative Housing Opportunities (IHO) has broken ground on Lincoln Beach, a 47-unit affordable housing community located at 208 South Beach Boulevard. The 28,327-square-foot development is designed as an intergenerational community, providing affordable housing for low-income seniors, with 10% of the units dedicated to youth transitioning out of foster care. Construction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026.

Lincoln Beach is part of a broader mixed-income development at the site, which will also include 60 for-sale townhomes aimed at market-rate and moderate-income buyers. These townhomes will be developed by Brandywine Homes, with construction scheduled to begin later this year.

“Through our comprehensive development strategy and partnership with Brandywine, we are creating an intergenerational high-performance community development model that makes home ownership attainable, and we further IHO’s commitment to social and economic mobility,” said Rochelle Mills, President and CEO of IHO.

The project is a key element of Anaheim’s Rebuild Beach initiative, which seeks to revitalize a 1.5-mile stretch of Beach Boulevard. Launched in 2021, the initiative focuses on replacing motels and deteriorating structures with new housing, businesses, and public spaces, transforming the corridor into a vibrant, walkable neighborhood.

For industry insights and updates from multifamily leaders, the Connect Apartments 2025 event will be held on September 11 in Los Angeles at the Fairmont Century Plaza.
