Georgetown Development Booming: Marquee Projects Moving Forward

Georgetown has seen a 14.4% population increase from 2021 to 2022, bringing the total number of residents to over 86,500 and making it the fastest growing town in the country. One development that may be accelerating this growth is Wolf Lakes Village in Georgetown. A 121,000 square-foot H-E-B grocery store will open next week and Ascension Seton medical offices will open this July with 60,000 square feet of space available. Furthermore, Hines is developing a 336-unit rental community which could be ready for occupancy by next year while Novak Brothers are turning 12 acres into Rise510 – 301 luxury apartments expected to complete summer 2024 along with single family homes following shortly after completion. The developer also hopes to include an amphitheater lake bell tower European plaza featuring high end restaurants and retail users as well as a boutique hotel; all together amounting up to 5 000 potential residents when finished off completely .
