Georgetown has seen a 14.4-percent population increase from 2021 to 2022, bringing the total number of residents to more than 86,500 and making it the fastest growing town in the country. One of its most anticipated developments, Wolf Lakes Village in Georgetown may be further accelerating this growth.
Next week will see a 121,000 square-foot H-E-B grocery store open its doors while Ascension Seton medical offices are set to open this July with 60,000 square feet dedicated for use. In addition Hines is developing a 336 unit rental community that could potentially be available by next year and Novak Brothers is transforming 12 acres into what they call Rise510 – 301 luxury apartments expected for completion summer 2024 followed by single family homes thereafter.
The development plans include an open air amphitheater; lake; bell tower; European plaza featuring high end restaurants and retail users as well as boutique hotel – all together estimated at 5,000 potential residents when complete .
