CRE Market Beat Take
Colliers’ addition of an experienced tenant rep VP in downtown Boston signals continued investment in advisory depth, which can influence how occupiers approach office lease negotiations in the CBD.

Colliers has expanded its Boston presence with the addition of Rachel Bliss as a vice president in the firm's Downtown Urban Leasing team. She joins the company's Boston office, where she will focus on office leasing advisory for tenants active in the downtown market. The move adds an experienced leasing professional with a background in tenant representation to Colliers' regional platform.

In her new position, Bliss will work with tenants across downtown Boston, providing guidance on leasing strategy, site selection and lease negotiations. Her mandate centers on advising occupiers as they evaluate space options and structure transactions in the core urban office district. The role places her on the ground in one of Boston's most active business hubs, where she will help clients align their space needs with available downtown inventory.

Bliss arrives at Colliers with a resume that includes vice president responsibilities at Hughes Marino, where she advised clients on a range of real estate requirements. Her experience there focused on representing tenants and helping them navigate complex leasing decisions. Earlier in her career, she also held positions at JLL and Cushman & Wakefield, gaining exposure to multiple brokerage platforms and building a track record within the office leasing sector.

Colliers leadership emphasized both her client focus and her market reputation in announcing the hire. David Goodhue, executive managing director at Colliers, noted that Bliss has built a reputation for strong client service and effective outcomes. He indicated that the firm sees her joining as an opportunity to further strengthen its advisory capabilities while maintaining an emphasis on service quality for downtown Boston tenants.

The appointment underscores Colliers' continued investment in its Downtown Urban Leasing team, as the firm seeks to support occupier clients in Boston's central business environment. By adding a vice president with local familiarity and tenant representation experience, Colliers is positioning its Boston office to deepen relationships with existing tenants and respond to evolving leasing needs in the downtown market.
