Botanic Properties and Bain Capital Joint Venture Breaks Ground on New Biomanufacturing Facility

GenesisM, a joint venture between Bain Capital Real Estate and Botanic Properties, has officially broken ground on a 154,000-square-foot, Class A biomanufacturing facility at 45 Crosby Drive in Bedford, Massachusetts. The project marks a significant milestone in the region’s effort to expand its purpose-built life sciences manufacturing infrastructure.

We are particularly pleased to be able to deliver this project in Bedford, MA, which is one of the most forward-thinking communities for life science and technology companies.”

Construction is underway, with tenant fit-out anticipated to begin as early as the second quarter of 2026. Completion of the core and shell is expected by the third quarter of 2026. The project is being financed by Barings.
