GenesisM, a joint venture between Bain Capital Real Estate and Botanic Properties, has officially broken ground on a 154,000-square-foot Class A biomanufacturing facility located at 45 Crosby Drive in Bedford, Massachusetts. The new development is a strategic move to address the growing demand for purpose-built life sciences manufacturing infrastructure in the Greater Boston area.

Construction is currently underway, with tenant fit-out slated to begin as early as the second quarter of 2026. The project’s full core and shell completion is expected by the third quarter of the same year. Barings is providing financing for the development.
