Beacon Capital Partners has launched a substantial renovation program at The Towers, a two-building office complex at 1000 and 1100 Wilson Boulevard in the Rosslyn neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia. The work, which began in January, is scheduled to conclude this summer, positioning the property for an upgraded presence in one of Arlington’s primary business districts.
The Towers comprises approximately 1.1 million square feet across two office towers. Since a joint venture of a Beacon Capital Partners affiliate and Qatar Investment Authority acquired the property in December 2024, roughly 250,000 square feet of leases have been executed at the complex. The ownership group views this activity as evidence of increasing tenant interest in high-quality office space in Rosslyn.
JLL is overseeing leasing for the broader Rosslyn portfolio, with a team led by Robert VeShancey, Yorke Allen, Matt Owens, Brent Mathis, and Lee Brinkman. Their assignment includes marketing and negotiating leases at The Towers as the renovation work progresses toward completion.
Shane McLaughlin, a managing director at Beacon Capital Partners, said companies are pursuing modern, high-quality premises and that the renovation program at The Towers is structured to match those requirements. Recent leasing and expansion activity at the property includes commitments from Sands Capital, the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Alphataraxia, and POLITICO.
With construction advancing and multiple tenants already secured or expanding, ownership is working to align the upgraded physical environment at The Towers with a roster of occupiers drawn to Rosslyn’s established position within Arlington’s office market.
