**Teachers Village: New $370M Atlanta High-Rise to Prioritize Housing for Educators and Seniors**

A new residential tower dubbed “Teachers Village” is set to rise more than 30 stories in downtown Atlanta near Centennial Olympic Park. The 457,584-square-foot development is a $370 million project spearheaded by RBH Group and has a strong community-focused mission.

The development will offer a total of 424 apartments, with a unique focus on affordable and workforce housing. Of these units, 227 will be designated for independent living seniors, while the remaining 197 will be marketed to workforce tenants—primarily teachers and other school employees in the Atlanta metro area.

Construction is scheduled to begin in October, and the building is slated for completion in 2027. In addition to residential units, plans include approximately 23,000 square feet of retail space spread across two levels. The site is bordered by Cone Street, Ted Turner Drive, and Walton Street in the heart of downtown.

Amenities proposed for Teachers Village include a rooftop swimming pool and sundeck, as well as landscaped terraces positioned above the building’s new parking podium—offering outdoor spaces tailored to residents’ relaxation and recreation needs.

The project highlights a growing trend toward purpose-driven urban development that meets the needs of essential workers and aging populations in a rapidly changing housing landscape.
