Gauging Interest in Downtown Austin Towers: A Manifold Perspective

Manifold Real Estate is gauging interest in two towers planned for the east side of Austin’s Central Business District (CBD) near the convention center. The proposed structures will reach heights of 41 and 55 floors, soaring up to 600 feet tall. Located at San Jacinto and Third Street, Rhodes has been tapped to design the 884,124 gross square foot development which includes 856 apartments, a 216-room hotel, 7 levels of above-grade parking with 849 spaces total plus 4k sqft retail space and 24k sqft amenities. In lieu of providing affordable housing onsite Manifold appears ready to pay a development bonus fee as reported by Austin Business Journal. The 0.8 acre site is valued at over $56 million according to Travis Central Appraisal District records making it an attractive investment opportunity for those interested in downtown living or visiting Austin’s CBD area attractions like Lady Bird Lake or 6th Street entertainment district nearby!
