EQ Office, Blackstone’s US office portfolio company, has hired Merredith Treaster as its SVP of Northern California based in San Francisco. She will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the existing 1.4 million square foot Northern California portfolio across San Francisco, Silicon Valley and San Jose while helping to shape the company’s regional strategy.

Treaster brings nearly 20 years of experience to EQ Office having most recently served as managing director for Nuveen’s U.S Strategic Lab Vehicle with previous roles at Hines, Tishman Speyer and The John Buck Company overseeing acquisitions/dispositions/leasing/development & asset repositioning activities .
