Maxwell Apartments in Detroit Reopen: Marquette Announces Grand Reopening

Marquette Companies recently celebrated the grand reopening of The Maxwell apartments in Romulus, Michigan. The firm completed significant renovations to the 312-unit community through an $8 million revitalization project covering repairs and property updates.

Mayor Robert McCraight thanked Marquette Companies and partner DRA Advisors for their efforts to restore The Maxwell. Marquette worked closely with city officials prior to acquiring the property and throughout the renovation while utilizing local vendors for construction work.

Jim Cunningham, Chief Operating Officer at Marquette Companies commented on their commitment to engaging with Romulus as partners in this process: “Just over a year after beginning this effort, we are already seeing a ripple effect on the neighborhood as a whole with 123 new residents added to its community along with reports of improved public safety.”
