On the post-Labor Day events calendar is the C5 + CCIM Global Summit | Commercial Real Estate Conference, scheduled for Sept. 28-30 in Atlanta. The three-day event marks a historic collaboration between the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the CCIM Institute. To help set the stage for this conference, Ashley Jackrel, VP Office & Investment Services at Avison Young spoke with Connect Media president and CEO Daniel Ceniceros about her experience in attending conferences like these.
Jackrel noted that it’s an eye-opening experience to hear presentations from fellow attendees who can provide unique perspectives on their local markets—a distinction between primary and secondary markets “has never been more prevalent” since she joined CRE industry years ago. This dichotomy makes networking and exchanging ideas—which are best done face to face—especially valuable as everyone has something they can take away from such events whether it be relationship building or elevating professionalism within CRE industry as a whole according to Jackrel herself.
