Connect CRE reports that multiple partners have teamed up on a mixed-use center located at the corner of Signal Butte Road and Southern Avenue in East Mesa. Vivo Partners, Hawkins Cos., Greystar Worldwide, and Bela Flor Communities are proposing Medina Station – 851 residential units and nearly 250,000 square feet of commercial space across four parcels within the 60-acre site. Greystar will build out one parcel with 165 “active adult” apartments to be called Album Mountain Vista designed for residents aged 55 years or older who want to maintain an active lifestyle. Additionally, Hawkins will develop apartments while Vivo Partners is responsible for shops, in-line retail spaces as well as eight pad sites featuring full and limited service restaurants. The project has been long awaited since it was initially slated for a Super Target but had sat vacant for years until now when these partners have come together to make this vision become reality!
