DHL Supply Chain, the contract logistics arm of DHL Group, is expanding its footprint with a new 755,000-square-foot distribution center in Violet Township, Ohio. Anticipated to open in Q2 2024 and create approximately 200 jobs for the region near DHL Supply Chain’s U.S. headquarters in Westerville, Ohio., this addition brings their total footprint to more than 15 million square feet within their home state and over 161 million square feet across North America as a whole.
The Violet Township facility will leverage cutting edge robotics technology and automation processes tailored to customer’s unique operational requirements while prioritizing digitalization investments that lead the industry in sustainable building planning and construction. This expansion of warehousing capacity is being spearheaded by DHL Real Estate Solutions team at DHL Supply Chain .
