Hyundai Motor America has acquired a boutique commercial building at 500 West 14th St in New York City’s Meatpacking District from Duanco for $22.5 million. The three-story freestanding building occupies a city block with frontage on 14th Street, Tenth Avenue, and the Hudson River, near the newly developed Little Island Park.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Don Yahn, Ian Brooks and Dan Organ represented HMA in the transaction. Yahn commented that “this acquisition reflects Hyundai Motor America’s long-term commitment to New York City and its dedication of more resources toward its presence there.”
This latest purchase is indicative of Hyundai Motor America’s ongoing investment into NYC real estate as they continue to expand their presence within the city limits.
