Subleasing Office Space at Aon Center: JLL to Occupy HQ

JLL, a global real estate company based in Chicago, is offering more than 61,000 square feet of its headquarters space at Aon Center for sublease. According to Crain’s Chicago Business , this represents about 30% of JLL’s workspace in the East Loop skyscraper and comes with a long-term lease that runs through May 2032. The 83-story tower is also home to Aon and KPMG as two other major tenants.

The listing arrives amidst an unprecedented office vacancy rate in the CBD area of 22.6%, while 601W – owner of the Aon Center – narrowly avoided defaulting on its $678 million debt package tied to the building earlier this year. This serves as yet another example that highlights how much available office space there currently is within Chicago city limits .
