Groundbreaking has taken place on King Street Properties’ The Landing in Burlingame, the firm’s first life science development project in the San Francisco Bay Area. Spanning 4.5 acres, this campus will feature two buildings – 1699 and 1701 Bayshore Hwy – totaling over 500,000 square feet of lab and office space along with tailored amenities for tenants and public use alike.
Managing Director Sonia Taneja commented on the project: “Burlingame is an ideal location to create an innovation hub of this scale; just seven minutes from South San Francisco. As a nationally recognized name in life science development, we are excited to bring our expertise to the Bay Area.”
The Landing was developed with Helios Real Estate Partners as well as designed by Perkins&Will while Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company serves as contractor for it all; JLL is responsible for leasing out The Landing’s spaces.
