Levi Williamson has joined CREC Real Estate, LLC as Director of Business Development. Williamson will focus on fundraising and growing the firm’s relationships with institutional investors and financial intermediaries in North America and globally. With a 17-year track record of raising capital across numerous private and public investment vehicles, he brings extensive experience to his new role.
Most recently, Williamson served as Director of Business Development at Optima Asset Management LLC – a $1.8 billion hedge fund – where he was responsible for fundraising in the U.S. and Canada markets respectively . Prior to that position ,he held the title of Director of Intermediary Distribution at BMO Global Asset Management’s U.S arm . Throughout his career ,Williamson has successfully raised over $4 .5 billion from institutional investors such as pension funds , sovereign wealth funds , endowments foundations & family offices alike . He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting & Financial Management from Keller Graduate School Of DeVry University along with Bachelor’s Degree In Economics management from Ohio Wesleyan University
