Richardson DART Station: Retail, Housing, and Hotels on the Horizon

Richardson DART Station: Retail, Housing, and Hotels on the Horizon

Expertly designed to take advantage of the new Silver Line from Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), The Points of Waterview will be a sprawling 36-acre development in Richardson, Texas. According to the Dallas Morning News, it will feature up to 4,000 apartment units and two hotels as well as 40,000 square feet of retail space and 500,000 square feet dedicated for office use. University of Texas at Dallas and local developer Wolverine Interests are collaborating on this project which is expected to go before Richardson City Council in September after receiving unanimous approval from its Planning & Zoning Commission.

The initial design includes seven buildings with an expansive open area facing the DART station entrance. Of the total acreage available for development 15 acres are owned by Wolverine while UT Dallas holds title over part of tract along its borders. This ambitious undertaking promises exciting opportunities for both residents and businesses alike when complete!
