Endeavor's Prodigious Austin Mixed-Use Project Gets the Go-Ahead

After months of negotiation, Endeavor Real Estate Group has been granted approval by the Austin City Council to move forward with their development plans. According to The Austin Business Journal, this project will encompass a bustling mixed-use district featuring 1,400 residential units, over 400,000 square feet of office space and more than 100,000 square feet of retail space in addition to a 220-room hotel located near Cesar Chavez Street East Seventh Street and U.S. Route 183 on the 21 acre former Borden Dairy site along the Colorado River. With an increased maximum building height allowance up to 120 feet (10 – 12 stories), these towers could potentially reach unprecedented heights for this area.
