Trammell Crow Company (TCC) recently announced that two tenants at its 725,000-square-foot, two-building life science campus in Chicago have signed leases to expand their footprints within the portfolio. The Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Chicago – a biomedical research hub – has leased roughly 28,200 square feet at 400 North Aberdeen while Portal Innovations – an existing tenant and venture accelerator – has increased its footprint from 6,000 square feet to 55,000 square feet on the same floor.
Initially signing a lease at 1375 West Fulton Street for additional space needs , CZ Biohub Chicago will instead be moving into a new turnkey space located in Q1 2024 with custom delivery designed by ESG Architects and lab planning provided by CRB Group as well as construction completed by Power Construction. The Fulton Labs Campus is represented by Dan Lyne of CBRE.
