Swinerton, a general contractor, is constructing three multifamily communities totaling $100 million in the Atlanta area. This project will add nearly 150 affordable housing units and 300 senior living residences to supplement what the Federal Reserve refers to as metro Atlanta’s “lagging affording housing inventory.”
Currently under construction is HearthSide Lawrenceville – a 100-percent affordable, senior living community with 140 homes for seniors located in Lawrenceville. East Cobb Walk in Marietta is another $100 million redevelopment that includes 132 senior living apartments plus retail and office space. Swinerton also serves as the general contractor for The Millery in Mableton – a residential build of almost 200 apartment homes worth $39 million dollars.
Since expanding its operations to the Southeast region back 2018, Swinerton has constructed over $358 million of commercial and multifamily environments throughout metro Atlanta; with almost 500 projects either currently underway or planned for future development
