Cross Street has expanded its senior leadership bench as it builds out a broader national platform. The firm added Will Shew as vice president of property management, Karen Gaski as vice president of people and culture, and Drew Malter as director of data and systems. These hires come as Cross Street scales its operations in Chicago, Denver and Cleveland and grows a property management platform that was recently expanded through the incorporation of Peak Properties into the company’s national business earlier in the year.
In the capital markets arena, Gantry has added Abe Osterhaus as a loan production director in its Kansas City production office. Osterhaus is tasked with building a client roster and arranging financing for a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes. He will source capital through Gantry’s network of life company correspondents, vetted lenders and equity providers, positioning clients to access different segments of the debt and equity capital stack.
Farbman Group reported a series of internal promotions and new hires across its family of companies. Team members elevated to new roles include John Line, Jordan Valasek, Eri Papa and John Browning IV. The firm also added two professionals, with Veronica Marlo and Kristin Meekhof joining as new hires. The personnel moves underscore ongoing growth initiatives within the organization’s platform.
Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its Detroit presence with the addition of Mike Valant as a managing director in the firm’s local office. Valant brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience and focuses on cross-market leasing and dispositions across Southeast Michigan as well as assignments on a national basis. His role centers on guiding clients through occupancy and investment decisions in multiple markets.
Greenstone Partners announced promotions for two professionals within its investment sales platform. Alexander Tychalski and Charlie Vietzen have been elevated to investment associates, reflecting their increased contributions and responsibilities. Tychalski will concentrate on multifamily properties across the Chicago MSA, working with Partner Jordan Multack and the wider investment sales team. Vietzen will focus on flex and industrial properties in DuPage County and the greater Chicagoland area in collaboration with Managing Partner Jason St. John and Greenstone’s broader investment sales group.
