Charlotte Area Mixed-Use Development Approved: Get the Details Here

Huntersville, NC commissioners have approved a rezoning request from Treenail Development for a proposed mixed-use project located on 70 acres at Mt. Holly-Huntersville and Hambright roads. This site is near the future Charlotte Area Transit System park-and-ride facility and I-77, with 747 multifamily units and 419,300 square feet of commercial space planned to be included in the development. The campus will feature 31 acres of residential development as well as 30 acres dedicated to commercial use; it will also include a pedestrian village along with an impressive seven story Class A 126,000 square foot office building plus 172,000 square feet of flex industrial space.

Susan Irvin from Irvin Law Group led the rezoning process on behalf of Treenail while Bartlett Hartley & Mulkey Architects (Charlotte) and Woodbine Design (Cornelius) are part of the project team alongside NASCAR driver Joey Logano who is also involved in this venture as an investor partner. With approval granted by Huntersville Commissioners this large scale mixed use development can now move forward towards completion!
