According to a recent survey, the average cost of constructing a new convenience store is $7 million – but the new Buc-ee’s in Boerne will cost an impressive $38 million. Spanning 53,471 square feet and located off Interstate 10 and U.S Business 87, plans for this gas station have been in development for over ten years now.
The Boerne location will be similar to other Texas locations with its “Travel center with associated sitework and fuel canopies.” Construction on the project begins October 1st 2020 and should be completed by October 1st 2024 – making it Buc-ee’s 41st location across America! Located just 30 miles northwest of San Antonio, this upcoming addition promises plenty of excitement when it opens its doors!
