Northmarq Closes Sale of $23M Multifamily Community in Spokane
CRE Market Beat Take
The closing shows that scaled, 1980s-vintage multifamily can still trade in secondary Pacific Northwest markets when local buyers move decisively despite headwinds.

Northmarq’s Seattle Investment Sales team has completed the sale of Go Go Heights Apartments, a garden-style multifamily community in Spokane, Washington. The 178-unit property is located at 7024 N. Colton St. and traded for $22.5 million.

The Northmarq team of Tyler Smith, Steve Fischer, Joe Kinkopf and Brendan Greenheck brokered the transaction. Northmarq represented the seller, LC Gogo Heights LLC, in the deal.

The buyer is c702 LLC, a Washington-based private investment firm. The acquisition adds a scaled, garden-style community to the buyer’s portfolio in Spokane, reflecting ongoing private capital interest in established multifamily product across the region.

Northmarq noted that the parties navigated significant market headwinds to bring the deal to closing. According to Kinkopf, the buyer’s ability to leverage its local team was a key factor in executing the transaction quickly and successfully despite the challenging environment.

The sale highlights continued investor demand for well-located multifamily assets in the Pacific Northwest. Go Go Heights Apartments offers two- and three-bedroom units, giving residents larger floor plans than are typically found in smaller rental properties.

Constructed in 1989, the community features interior amenities including hardwood laminate flooring, walk-in closets, in-unit fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and private balconies. These features position the property as a competitive option for renters seeking more space and in-unit comforts within an established neighborhood setting.

The transaction underscores that garden-style communities with scale and in-place amenities continue to attract investors looking for long-term value in growing regional markets. It also illustrates that local market knowledge and on-the-ground execution capabilities can be critical to closing deals when broader capital markets conditions present headwinds.

The sale of Go Go Heights Apartments adds to recent multifamily investment activity across the Pacific Northwest, where buyers and sellers are continuing to transact on assets that combine scale, defined unit mixes and features that appeal to residents seeking both comfort and functionality.
