Selldorf Architects has committed to a new long-term lease renewal at 860 Broadway, maintaining its presence in one of Manhattan’s well-known office properties. Colliers senior vice president Seth Hecht arranged the 10-year extension, covering 13,815 square feet, on behalf of Gordon Property Group.
The architecture firm, led by internationally recognized architect Annabelle Selldorf, has been located at 860 Broadway for approximately two decades. The renewal ensures that the practice will continue to operate from the same address for another decade, reinforcing its long-standing association with the building.
On the tenant side, Selldorf Architects was represented by Savills. The firm’s team on the transaction included Erik Schmall and Scott Weiss, who negotiated terms for the architectural practice. Hecht, representing Gordon Property Group, led the landlord-side negotiations to finalize the renewal agreement.
Hecht described 860 Broadway as one of Manhattan’s iconic office assets and highlighted its ongoing draw for creative and innovative users. He noted that a new 10-year commitment from a globally respected firm such as Selldorf Architects underscores both the property’s sustained appeal and the perceived long-term resilience of the local office market.
The tenant roster at 860 Broadway includes a mix of office and retail users. In addition to Selldorf Architects, office tenants include flexible workspace provider Industrious and Valon, while Uniqlo occupies retail space in the building. This combination of firms reflects a diverse occupancy profile within the property.
Beyond this renewal, Hecht is also working with Gordon Property Group on leasing assignments across its broader office portfolio. He is currently representing the group in marketing and leasing three additional office properties located in Manhattan, further extending Colliers’ role across the owner’s holdings in the borough.
