Pinellas County Schools has chosen Tomlinson Community Partners (TCP) to renovate the 99-year-old Tomlinson Building in St. Petersburg’s Mirror Lake neighborhood for workforce housing. TCP is a partnership between Alexander Goshen, Cornerstone Strategic Partners, and Dantes Partners.
Kevin Hendrick, Pinellas County Schools superintendent commented that “we must provide accessible and desirable housing options to attract and retain the best teachers and district employees” as it aligns with their goal of supporting educators’ and employees’ housing needs.
The project includes 225 residential units; 113 designated as workforce housing catering to those making 90-120% of area median income with estimated rent ranging from $1,263 – $1,609 including studio-, one-, or two-bedroom floor plans available while 112 units will be leased at market value rate.
