Keystone Hospitality has acquired the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel, expanding its hospitality portfolio in the Indianapolis area. The hotel is located at 11925 N. Meridian St. along the North Meridian Corridor in Carmel, Indiana, placing it within one of the region’s established commercial and lodging corridors.
The property comprises 266 rooms and is described as Hamilton County’s largest full-service hotel. It is also currently the only operating hotel in Indiana under Marriott International’s Renaissance Hotels lifestyle brand, giving the asset a unique positioning in the state’s lodging market. The transaction adds a sizable, full-service, branded hotel to Keystone Hospitality’s holdings in a county that has seen continued growth in business and leisure demand.
Commenting on the acquisition, Ersal Ozdemir, Founder and Owner of Keystone Group, said that Indiana continues to emerge as a premier destination for domestic and international tourism, major sporting events, city-wide conventions and corporate travel. He emphasized that the company is committed to making strategic investments that enhance the visitor experience and strengthen Indiana’s hospitality infrastructure, with the broader goal of helping the state compete on a global scale.
The acquisition represents Keystone Hospitality’s second recent commitment to the Renaissance brand in Indiana. The company previously announced plans to transform the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre into what would become the state’s second Renaissance hotel. That downtown Indianapolis project, once completed, is expected to convert an existing hotel into a Renaissance-flagged property, further expanding the brand’s footprint in the market.
Upon completion of the downtown conversion, Keystone will own every Renaissance hotel in Indiana. This concentration of brand ownership gives the company control over the full in-state Renaissance portfolio, positioning it to influence how the lifestyle brand is represented across key Indiana locations. It also underscores Keystone’s strategy of focusing on branded, full-service assets in markets that draw a mix of tourism, convention and corporate demand.
The Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel acquisition, together with the planned Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre conversion, aligns with Keystone’s stated intention to support Indiana’s growing role as a destination for large-scale events and business travel. By adding and repositioning full-service, branded hotels, the company is aiming to capture demand associated with statewide tourism initiatives, convention activity and corporate travel, while aligning its portfolio with a globally recognized hotel flag.
