Veteran commercial real estate broker Nancy McClure is taking on a new leadership role with Western Retail Advisors as the firm launches a Tucson office focused on retail services across Southern Arizona. After a 36-year career with CBRE, McClure is departing the global brokerage to become Senior Vice President and Southern Arizona Market Leader for Western Retail Advisors, bringing extensive local relationships and transaction experience to the firm’s expansion.
McClure is widely recognized in Tucson as one of the market’s most active commercial real estate professionals, particularly in the retail sector. Over the course of her career, she has represented landlords, local retailers, national brands, and investment clients throughout Tucson and the broader Southern Arizona region. Her work has included assignments across a range of retail formats, from shopping centers to restaurant and entertainment concepts, supporting both occupier and ownership strategies.
Among her notable projects, McClure is credited with leading the repositioning of a 1.1 million-square-foot core-plus retail center by “de-malling” the asset and helping transform it into a super-power center. That effort included attracting a mix of retailers and restaurants that continue to drive consumer traffic to the property and reinforce Southern Arizona’s established shopping destinations. The project highlights her track record in reconfiguring legacy retail product to match evolving tenant demand.
Western Retail Advisors’ new Tucson office will extend the firm’s platform in tenant and landlord representation, with services covering restaurant and entertainment leasing, specialty leasing, and investment sales. The expansion is designed to support both owners seeking to stabilize or enhance the performance of their retail assets and retailers looking to grow or refine their Southern Arizona store networks.
In addition to her brokerage and advisory work, McClure maintains an active presence in the Tucson business and civic community. She serves as a member of the Tucson Airport Authority, contributing to oversight of a key regional transportation hub. She also sits on the University of Arizona Eller College of Management National Board of Advisors, providing industry perspective to the business school and its leadership.
