New York-based developer Vista Properties is planning to build three mixed-use buildings at the intersection of Morgan and Kinzie streets in Fulton Market, Chicago. The development would include a mix of studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments totaling 1,500 units. Vista presented its proposal during a recent community meeting hosted by Neighbors of River West and the West Central Association for feedback before it goes through review by city’s Plan Commission and Zoning Committee followed by City Council votes. According to Affordable Rental Ordinance requirements, 20 percent or about 290 units must be affordable housing if approved.
