Skender Completes Office Interior Construction Projects in Indianapolis
CRE Market Beat Take
Coordinated interior upgrades and new headquarters buildouts at Keystone Crossing signal landlords’ focus on keeping existing office assets competitive through targeted capital investment rather than large-scale repositioning.

Skender has wrapped up a series of office interior projects at the Keystone Crossing office park in Indianapolis, Indiana, acting as general contractor for a coordinated refresh of the campus. The five-building complex totals 1.1 million square feet and received both common-area upgrades and four distinct tenant buildouts aimed at modernizing the office environment.

The work was carried out on behalf of landlords Interamar and Typerion Holdings, which acquired the Keystone Crossing campus in late 2024. Skender’s scope included a combination of full-floor renovations, new tenant suites, and shared amenity enhancements, with the four interior buildouts together comprising 57,000 square feet of office space across several buildings in the park.

At 8888 Keystone Crossing, Skender completed a 15,000-square-foot gut remodel of the existing 16th floor for WestPoint Financial Group, a MassMutual firm. The project converted the previously built-out floor into a fully reimagined workplace tailored to the tenant’s current operational needs, representing one of the larger individual components of the overall upgrade program.

In the 9000 Keystone Crossing building, Skender delivered a 7,000-square-foot office buildout for the Indiana Apartment Association. In the same building, the firm also converted two ground-floor suites into a new amenity center, expanding shared offerings for tenants in the complex and repositioning previously separate spaces into a more flexible common-use environment.

Additional projects were completed at 9100 Keystone Crossing, where Skender built out the 21,000-square-foot national headquarters for Delta Tau Delta. The firm also constructed a 14,000-square-foot office space for CliftonLarsonAllen within the campus, further diversifying the tenant mix and consolidating several substantial office users at Keystone Crossing.

Commenting on the completed work, Brian Simons, president of Skender’s Indiana office, said the transformation highlights the firm’s ability to translate thoughtful design into high-performance workplaces for both real estate owners and tenants. The multi-building package of interior upgrades and amenity improvements underscores continued investment in existing office assets at Keystone Crossing.
