Texas is abuzz with excitement over the upcoming opening of Goodsurf Dallas, a surf park located at 317 S. Second Avenue in Downtown Dallas. Formerly the site of Sandbar Cantina & Grill, which closed earlier this year after more than a decade in business, Goodsurf will feature “the world’s most accessible and authentic surf wave technology” that creates waves up to six feet tall known as “deep water stationary waves.” The company is owned by Urban Entertainment Concepts based out of Dallas and acquired its wave technology from Citywave North America.
In addition to surfing opportunities, visitors can also enjoy a bar, restaurant and beer garden when it opens in the first quarter of 2024 within Deep Ellum neighborhood. Construction on-site will begin this month bringing even more anticipation for Texas’ newest attraction!
