**MetroNational Investing $9.1 Million in Memorial Office Renovation**
MetroNational has announced a $9.1 million investment to renovate 9821 Katy Freeway, a 161,200-square-foot Class A office building located in the heart of the Memorial area.
The renovation project will introduce a variety of modern amenities to enhance the tenant experience. Planned features include a 40-person training room, a 14-person Teams-enabled boardroom complemented by a bar, wellness and mothers’ rooms, flexible workspaces, and Wi-Fi-enabled common areas. Tenants will also have convenient dining options accessible via an air-conditioned skywalk connecting the building to nearby MetroNational destinations within Memorial.
Renovations are scheduled for completion in 2026 and will be carried out in phases to minimize disruption. Phase I will focus on the construction of the skybridge and improvements to surrounding landscaping and hardscaping. Phase II will address enhancements to the building’s exterior curtain wall, primary entrances, and additional outdoor spaces. The building will remain open and operational throughout the renovation process.
