Construction has officially begun on the first phase of Haggard Farm, a transformative $750 million mixed-use development in Plano, Texas. The project’s initial phase will encompass 100,000 square feet of retail space, 350 multifamily residential units, 188 townhomes, and a variety of recreational amenities.
Stillwater Capital Investments LLC initiated site work in 2023, and vertical construction on the retail buildings is now underway. This construction is expected to span approximately 14 months, after which interior buildouts for tenants will begin. The entire first phase is projected to take about two years to complete.
When fully developed, the 142-acre Haggard Farm project will feature around 200,000 square feet of retail offerings, 700 multifamily residential units, 650,000 square feet of office space, and a boutique hotel with a private social club. The project will also include 10 acres of green space dedicated to public and recreational use.
Anchoring the retail component will be The Almanac 1856, an 8,000-square-foot farm-to-table restaurant and bar, alongside Haggard Hall, a 16,000-square-foot event barn intended for community gatherings and private functions.
While the first phase will focus on residential and retail developments, plans for future phases include office space tailored for corporate build-to-suit opportunities. This multi-phase project aims to serve as a vibrant and integrated destination for live, work, and play in the heart of Plano.
