**St. John Properties Secures Two New Leases at Glen Burnie Business Center**
St. John Properties, Inc. has signed two new leases at Glen Burnie Business Center, a seven-building business community located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The deals together comprise more than 310,000 square feet of flex/research and development (R&D) space.
The two new tenants, Caliber Bodyworks of Maryland, LLC and Harrison Cart Works, LLC, will occupy space at the recently constructed 132 8th Avenue facility. Caliber Bodyworks has leased 16,624 square feet, while Harrison Cart Works has signed on for 11,788 square feet. Both companies are expected to open their locations early next year.
St. John Properties’ Leasing Representative, Claire Metz, represented the landlord in both transactions.
As part of revitalizing the area, St. John Properties demolished the former Michael’s 8th Avenue banquet hall and constructed a new 40,560-square-foot flex/R&D building at the site. The Glen Burnie Business Center is strategically located approximately three miles from Interstate 695 and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. It is also nine miles from Baltimore City and less than 35 miles from Washington, D.C.
