Skanska Adds New Retail Tenants to Kaye Tower in Seattle’s Belltown
Skanska has secured two new retail tenants at Kaye, its 31-story apartment tower recently completed at 2208 4th Ave. in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.
Local hospitality concept Eva’s Café & Bar and national immersive-fitness brand BODYROK will both occupy ground-floor retail spaces in the building. “Eva’s Café & Bar and BODYROK both bring that to life — offering unique, local, and personalized retail experiences that encourage community and wellness,” said Charlie Foushée, executive vice president and regional manager at Skanska Commercial Development in Seattle.
Eva’s Café & Bar will operate within a 1,100-square-foot space, while BODYROK will take approximately 4,100 square feet in the northwest corner of Kaye’s ground level.
The Kaye building, which officially opened earlier this spring, was constructed by Skanska USA Building. It was designed in collaboration with VIA, a Perkins Eastman Studio serving as architect of record, and New York-based Grzywinski + Pons, who designed the interiors. Located on the former site of the legendary Bad Animals Recording Studio, Kaye includes 324 residential units.
