**Publix to Anchor $65M Woodstock Retail Center**

Connolly, a real estate investor and developer, has officially closed on an 11-acre greenfield development site along Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock, Georgia. The project will feature a new retail center anchored by a Publix grocery store. Woodstock is located approximately 10 miles north of Marietta.

According to reports, Connolly acquired several parcels for at least $5.93 million in September. In a previous transaction from 2021, the firm also purchased a neighboring 28,000-square-foot strip center for about $4 million. Renovations are planned for that existing property as part of the overall development. The total investment in the Woodstock project is estimated at around $65 million.

Named the Woodstock Mill District, the new development will feature a 47,000-square-foot Publix store and an additional 43,000 square feet of retail space yet to be leased. Construction is already underway, with retail units expected to be delivered in phases throughout the second half of 2026.

Benning Construction Co. serves as the general contractor for the project, with Place Maker Design as the architect. Lavista Associates Inc. is managing leasing efforts on behalf of Connolly.
