**Domain Companies Expands with Acquisition of The Vorea Group**
The Domain Companies, a real estate development and investment firm based in New York and New Orleans, announced the acquisition of The Vorea Group. The deal includes Vorea’s New York-based development operations along with its affiliated companies: commercial real estate brokerage Igloo and the general contracting firm Vorea Construction Company. Notably, the acquisition does not include The Vorea Group’s existing real estate assets.
“Domain and Vorea have had a longstanding relationship as partners on several significant projects, and this transaction is a seamless strategic decision, enabling us to build upon the successes we have shared over the past decade,” said Chris Papamichael, co-CEO of Domain Companies. “Vorea Construction and Igloo perfectly complement Domain’s existing businesses, empowering us to create best-in-class assets that will have a lasting impact in neighborhoods throughout New York City.”
The acquisition further strengthens Domain’s integrated platform, which spans real estate development and investment, multifamily and commercial property management, and affiliate services through Good Company—a division providing pre-development planning, leasing, marketing, and management services. The integration also includes The Shop, Domain’s co-working and creative office platform.
This move builds on years of partnership between Domain and Vorea in developing mixed-use projects across New York City.
