Cousins Properties Constructing Office and Apartment Towers in South End Warehouse District

Cousins Properties is planning a 17-story office tower and 310-apartment building at 306 W. Tremont Ave. in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood, which they acquired late 2020 along with two additional warehouse sites located at 242 W. Tremont Ave. and 305 Doggett Street on 2.4 acres of land collectively containing warehouses currently . Additionally, Cousins is also planning a 200,000-square-foot office building with retail space on the ground floor and parking lot at 205 E Bland St.. The planned buildings will be built over podium parking connected by pedestrian bridge spanning between them to create a pedestrian thoroughfare called Tremont Alley faced by ground floor retail space .
