**Seaport Entertainment Group Inc.** has appointed Matt Partridge as its new President and CEO. He succeeds Anton Nikodemus, who will transition to the role of Special Advisor until November 3, 2025. Additionally, Lenah Elaiwat has been named Interim CFO and Treasurer. Michael Crawford, currently serving as Lead Independent Director, will become Chairman of the Board.
**Newmark** has promoted Marc R. Shapiro to Practice Leader of its Valuation & Advisory (V&A) Financial Reporting practice. In this expanded role, he will also focus on growing Newmark’s Alternative Valuation Services, including Appraisal Review, Cost Segregation, Evaluations, Business Valuation Services, and Insurable Value Estimates.
**Angela D’Aguanno** has joined **WeWork** as Chief Administrative Officer, reporting directly to CEO John Santora. D’Aguanno previously held the position of SVP, Americas Advisory Operations at Cushman & Wakefield, where she built a 21-year career in finance and operations.
**Cityview**, a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in multifamily housing, has hired Maggie Deichmann as Managing Director of East Coast Acquisitions. Based in the firm’s newly opened New York City office, Deichmann will lead strategic acquisition efforts throughout the Eastern United States.
**CBRE** has announced the hiring of future-of-work expert Annie Dean to lead the newly formed CBRE x Industrious Building Experience Lab. The lab’s mission is to reimagine the design and functionality of commercial spaces including offices, logistics facilities, and retail venues. Dean will also serve as the Global Chief Strategy Officer for CBRE’s Building Operations & Experience business segment.
The **Urban Land Institute New York** has announced the 10th Annual Awards for Excellence in Development Gala, scheduled for April 29, 2026, in New York City. The awards program honors innovation, design, and community impact in real estate development. Applications are now open and will close on October 24, 2025. Finalists will be notified in January 2026, with winners recognized at the gala event.
