**Chicago Bears Commit to New Stadium in Arlington Heights**

The Chicago Bears have officially announced plans to build a new fixed-roof stadium in Arlington Heights, Illinois, marking a significant milestone in the franchise’s future. The new development site is located approximately 25 miles northwest of the Bears’ longtime home at Soldier Field in downtown Chicago.

“Moving outside of the city of Chicago is not a decision we reached easily,” said Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren. “The project provides us the opportunity to build a stadium and mixed-use development that will benefit our fans, our region, and our future together.”

The organization estimates that the stadium development will generate more than 56,000 construction jobs and create approximately 9,000 permanent jobs upon completion. According to the Bears, this world-class stadium project will be privately funded without requiring a single dollar from the State of Illinois for construction.

In addition to enhancing the game-day experience for fans, the new stadium is projected to generate $10 billion in economic impact across the state through construction activities and contribute $256 million in annual new business and tourism revenue statewide.

This new chapter for the storied NFL franchise is poised to bring long-term financial and social benefits to the region, transforming Arlington Heights into a year-round destination for sports, entertainment, and community activities.
