**Vestar to Develop Laveen Towne Center in Southwest Phoenix**

Vestar is moving forward with the development of Laveen Towne Center, a new open-air shopping center planned for a 90-acre site in the heart of Laveen—a rapidly growing community in southwest Phoenix. The project is scheduled to break ground in the summer of 2026, with a grand opening targeted for winter 2027.

Laveen Towne Center will feature a dynamic mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment options designed to serve the area’s expanding population. The development will incorporate sustainable practices by reusing existing materials found onsite, including elements from the historic Hudson Farmhouse. Informational plaques will be placed throughout the center to educate visitors on the site’s heritage and the broader history of Laveen.

Additional features of the center will include shaded storefronts, pedestrian-friendly walkways, and significant roadway improvements along Dobbins Road and 59th Avenue, enhancing accessibility to the area.

The Laveen Towne Center marks one of five ground-up projects Vestar has undertaken in the Phoenix metropolitan area since 2020. The company also has an additional 1.5 million square feet of new developments currently in pre-development, slated for completion by 2031.
