**Alliance Residential and MAA Partner on 336-Unit Apartment Community in Charleston**
Alliance Residential Company has acquired 18.67 acres of land at 1730 Clements Ferry Road in Charleston, South Carolina, for the development of MAA Point Hope, a new 336-unit multifamily community. The project is situated within the expansive, 9,000-acre master-planned Point Hope community, located near Daniel Island and within the Charleston city limits.
Alliance is partnering with real estate investment trust MAA (Mid-America Apartment Communities) on the development.
MAA Point Hope will benefit from its close proximity to a variety of retail and service providers, including a Publix supermarket, medical and dental offices, and veterinary care. The surrounding area is home to abundant dining options and is located within 10 miles of major shopping destinations such as Tanger Outlets Charleston and Mount Pleasant Towne Centre.
The proposed community will feature six three-story buildings and two four-story buildings, along with a standalone clubhouse. Planned amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, pet park with dog washing station, outdoor kitchen and grill area, private co-working spaces, a fitness center, a clubroom, and a game room.
