**OHT Partners Breaks Ground on 360-Unit Apartment Community in Katy, Texas**
OHT Partners, a Texas-based development, construction, and investment firm, has officially broken ground on its 17th multifamily housing community in the Greater Houston area.
The new apartment development is situated at 23615 Kingsland Boulevard, west of Grand Parkway, and spans 14.2 acres. Zoned to Katy High School, the project is also conveniently located near the Katy Mills Mall shopping center.
The community will feature 360 upscale rental units, comprised of 246 one-bedroom and 114 two-bedroom apartments. Unit sizes will range from 702 to 1,256 square feet. Planned amenities include a resort-style pool with private cabanas and a pavilion, co-working lounges, a clubroom kitchen, a fitness center, a pickleball court, and an artificial turf game lawn.
Completion is scheduled for mid-2027.
The Greater Houston area, including Katy, has seen a robust demand for luxury rentals, with over 18,000 new high-end units absorbed in the past year. Average apartment rents reached approximately $1,760 per month as of June.
