**City Advances Fordham Landing South Project with Nearly 1,000 Affordable Homes on Bronx Waterfront**

New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced Friday the city will move forward with Fordham Landing South, a major affordable housing initiative along the Bronx waterfront. The transformative development will introduce more than 900 affordable homes and a publicly accessible riverside area, revitalizing an underutilized section of the Harlem River.

Developed in partnership with Dynamic Star and Lettire, the Fordham Landing South project will deliver approximately 927 affordable units targeting a range of income levels. It represents a significant step toward addressing the city’s housing crisis while simultaneously improving public access to the waterfront.

“With today’s announcement, the long-held dream of transforming this neglected stretch of Bronx waterfront into a vibrant, accessible community is finally becoming a reality,” said Gary Segal, co-founder and CEO of Dynamic Star.

The project is being financed in part by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and has also received $55 million in state funding to support critical site infrastructure.
