National Development announced on Monday that three key tenants have signed long-term lease renewals totaling over 130,000 square feet at The District in Burlington, Massachusetts—one of which includes a significant expansion.

COMSOL, a global leader in simulation software, has expanded its footprint at 100 District Avenue by an additional 11,500 square feet. This brings the company’s total office space to 45,500 square feet under a new 10-year lease.

Black Duck Software, recognized for its leadership in software application security, has renewed its lease for 45,000 square feet at 800 District Avenue under a seven-year agreement.

Meanwhile, flexible workplace provider Regus has recommitted to its 43,000-square-foot coworking space at 1500 District Avenue, also signing a seven-year extension.

“We’re thrilled that COMSOL, Black Duck, and Regus have chosen to continue growing their teams by choosing The District’s dynamic, best-in-class workspaces and amenities,” said Billy Kennedy, Vice President of Asset Management at National Development.

Kennedy and Angela Iannuzzi of National Development represented ownership in the lease negotiations, alongside Michael R. O’Leary, Executive Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
