**Steven Beyda Joins Newmark**
Steven Beyda has joined Newmark as an Executive Managing Director within the company’s Industrial Advisory Group. Based in the Rutherford, New Jersey office, Beyda will focus on agency leasing and strategic advisory, with a goal of expanding the firm’s institutional platform. Over his brokerage career, he has completed over 30 million square feet of industrial transactions totaling more than $3 billion. Prior to joining Newmark, he served as Vice President of Industrial at Woodmont Industrial Partners.

**Randy Abend Appointed at Cushman & Wakefield**
Cushman & Wakefield has hired Randy Abend as Executive Managing Director, based in the company’s New York City office. Abend will be responsible for tenant representation and agency client services throughout Manhattan, while also supporting national and international accounts for larger corporate clients. He brings 23 years of experience from JLL, where he most recently served as Managing Director.

**Arrow Real Estate Advisors Expands Team**
Arrow Real Estate Advisors has announced the addition of Will Farrell and Porter Thomas as analysts. Farrell previously worked with Hodges Ward Elliott on the Capital Markets & Loan Sale Advisory team, with a focus on hospitality. Thomas comes from Quadrant Real Estate Advisors, where he supported the Originations team, and also worked with Atlanta Property Group on industrial acquisitions in the Southeast.

**George L. W. Malkin Joins Empire State Realty Trust Board**
George L. W. Malkin has been appointed to the board of directors at Empire State Realty Trust. Malkin is president of Malkin Holdings and is the son of Anthony E. Malkin, chairman and CEO of the company, as well as the grandson of Peter L. Malkin, chairman emeritus.

**Essential Properties Realty Trust Elects Kristin L. Smallwood to Board**
Essential Properties Realty Trust, Inc. has elected Kristin L. Smallwood to its board of directors. Her appointment brings the board to a total of eight members, seven of whom are independent. Smallwood offers nearly 30 years of experience in audit and advisory services, having spent her career at PwC and serving as a partner from 2006 until her retirement in 2025.
