**CMC Hotels Unveils Hive House in Cary, with Another Hotel on the Way**
CMC Hotels is expanding its footprint in Cary, North Carolina, with the opening of Hive House this week and another hotel already under construction. Hive House is located at 1121 Ledsome Lane, near the bustling Crossroads retail district, offering convenient access for both business and leisure travelers.
In addition to Hive House, CMC Hotels is developing a seven-story Residence Inn by Marriott on the adjacent site. The area was previously home to a Best Western that first opened in the 1980s. CMC purchased the land in 1984 for under $100,000 and has since demolished two of the former hotel’s buildings to make room for the new Residence Inn, which is expected to open in 2026. A third building from the original Best Western has been renovated and repurposed as Hive House.
Hive House is designed as an extended-stay hotel and features 45 spacious suites. Each suite includes two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a separate living area, catering to guests seeking comfort and convenience for longer visits. On-site amenities include a lounge with a billiards table, a chess nook, and a fitness center, providing guests with both relaxation and recreation options.
The construction of Hive House was handled by Chhabra Construction Corporation, CMC’s in-house general contractor. This marks the latest addition to CMC Hotels’ growing portfolio, which currently includes 11 properties.
With Hive House now open and the Residence Inn set to rise next door, CMC continues to solidify its presence in the Cary hospitality market.
